Terms of Service

The service

Broth is a recipe management and cooking assistant application. You can save recipes, plan meals, generate shopping lists, and use guided cooking timelines. The service is currently in beta and provided as-is.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Do not share your account.

Your content

Recipes you save are stored in your personal account. You retain ownership of any notes, tags, or modifications you make. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Recipe content extracted from URLs is sourced from publicly available web pages. Broth acts as a personal bookmarking and organization tool for this content.

AI features

Broth uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude) to extract recipe content, generate cooking timelines, and suggest ingredient substitutions. AI-generated content is provided as a convenience and may contain errors. Always use your own judgment when cooking.

Beta disclaimer

Broth is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or data persistence during the beta period.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the service.
• Abuse AI features (excessive automated requests).
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@getbroth.app.

Liability

Broth is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to cooking outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Broth after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
